Sean Spencer

Born Burnley, Lancashire, 1962. Worked as a reporter on local newspapers before studying photojournalism on NCTJ course at Richmond College, Sheffield 1984-85. Has since worked for various newspapers as a photographer including nine years at the Hull Daily Mail where he was chief photographer. Worked for a year in Israel. Launched Hull News & Pictures in 1996 since when he has worked for national newspapers and magazines. Season ticket holder at Turf Moor. Brother of Manchester based artist Liam Spencer.
