| Born Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, 1963. Studied journalism on NCTJ course at Darlington College, 1983-84. Then worked as a news reporter at the Scunthorpe Telegraph and Grimsby Telegraph, the latter as news editor and then chief sub-editor. Went freelance in 1994 working mainly in feature writing particularly for womens magazines including Take a Break, That's Life, Chat and Woman's Own. Also branched into public relations with former clients including Humberside International Airport and Business Link Humber. |
