Training in Editorial Photography

Don't know your f stop from your elbow. We offer half day, full day and two day intensive training courses in editorial photography. We will visit your office and teach you and your staff how to get the best out of the office camera. Not just images suitable for your internal uses, but also pictures that will make the regional, national and trade press take notice. We can offer lots of tips of the trade to increase your chances. We do it every day and have been doing it for the last 20 odd years. Below is how it should all pan out. You will need an SLR camera but we can provide some if needed.

Technical Stuff

Explains: automatic exposure; manual exposure; shutter speed; aperture; depth of field; focusing; natural lighting; flash. Don't panic, we can still set the camera to auto!

How To Take a Picture with Impact

Using the right lens; angles; framing; expression; direction; dramatic lighting.

The Brief

Now it's your turn. We will give you a brief and you have to go and shoot some great pictures.

Editing and Captioning

We will teach you how to quickly edit your images in Photoshop or similar software, including batch processing and captioning.
