6 April 2009: File picture from the 1970's of actors and crew from Hull Truck Theatre which was founded in 1971 and originally performed from the back of a truck (pictured), hence the name. Today playwright John Godber opened a new 440 seater auditorium in Hull. The £15m theatre opens to the public on 23 April, Shakespeare's birthday.
