13 July 2017: A woman wafts her hand to light an art installation 'Colour Breeze' which has opened as part of the 'States of Play' exhibition in Hull, East Yorkshire. 'Colour Breeze', by Katharina Mischer and Thomas Traxler, uses lighweight and fragile surfaces which react to breath or drafts, ulluminating when blown.
'States of Play' is part of Hull 2017 UK City of Culture and has a selection of contemporary work by UK and international artists.
In an era of digital entertainment, it uses physical objects for play.
It is supported by Arts Council England and British Council.
It runs until 24 September at Humber Street Gallery.
